Rarely a month goes by without an exciting announcement or two, and March was no different. We were thrilled to announce the 50th Anniversary Half-Speed Mastering release of McCartney for Record Store Day, which will now take place on Saturday 20th June. Find out more HERE. We also shared the news of a brand-new documentary from filmmaker Peter Jackson: The Beatles: Get Back will be released in September 2020 by Walt Disney Studios, and will feature never-before-seen footage of the band’s Let It Be recording sessions. Read the full announcement on The Beatles’ website HERE.
In other news, Paul wished “Mothers all over the world a Happy Mother’s Day”, and marked St Patrick’s Day with a special message for fans.
Last week, Paul showed support for Dhani Harrison and Olivia Harrison’s #innerlight2020 initiative, in support of the Material World Foundation and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Sing it, play it, hum it, strum it, paint it, chant it or meditate to share the love” - for every person that shares their own "Inner Light" moment on social media using the #innerlight2020 hashtag, the Material World Foundation will give another $1 (up to $100,000) to help those affected by the virus. See Paul’s message, and find out more about the initiative HERE.
And finally, what do you do to relax? Paul revealed that his favourite ways to unwind include horse-riding and watching TV shows like ‘Gogglebox’, in this month’s ‘You Gave Me The Answer’.
Find out if you share any relaxation habits with Paul, and share your own tips, HERE.
All the best! (And stay home and stay safe in April)
